slides and music

The slides are projected on a huge screen and are shown for longer. Thus a relaxing
and meditative mood developes and the viewer lets the music carry him into optical dimensions. The music are several short electro-acoustic compositions by different artists, partly it has been composed for existing picture series, partly independently.

Landscapes - photographed in Lower Austria.
Basically resembling of soul and countryside can be found anywhere.
It will only take place where the soul is moved by shapes and enchanted equally. Thus a form of resonance is created.
In addition to other topics I have photographed landscapes of my vicinity over and over again for years. I feel captured by the same places. They change. The fields are cultivated differently every year, trees are cut down, the humidity of the earth, the air, the incidence of light are never the same. Human beings seem to be not existing, but their traces are present.

Nothing has been manipulated in these pictures, there was no application of graphic or computer artwork, the work is finished by taking the photo.The determining elements are the quality of light at different seasons or times of the day and the various types of films with their individual 'perception'. Thus manifold conversions of light into colour come into being - like sensations of different suns.

According to space and possibilities a bigger or smaller version of performance is on offer.
The arrangement of screens and loudspeakers is adjusted to the particular room.
Duration of performance will vary from 20 to 80 minutes.
Minimum breadth 4 m, minimum height 2,7 m.
